GKIDS is bringing the new Shaun the Sheep movie to NA theaters

The theatrical distributor has picked up rights to Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom (pictured) and will bring the spooky kids & family film produced by Aardman and Studio Canal into North American cinemas around Halloween this year. This deal marks the first time GKIDS and Aardman will work together. Shaun the Sheep’s third movie sees him investigating a mysterious creature that’s haunting the countryside.

Nintendo and TOMY bring a splash of fun to bathtime

More licensing partners have assembled around the My Mario brand, which ages down Nintendo’s iconic gaming character for preschoolers. A licensing program that includes books (Penguin Random House) and bath toys (TOMY) is heading to US retailers sometime this year. My Mario products first launched in Japan, supported by a collection of stop-motion shorts. For its part, TOMY plans to launch water squirters and a playset in March throughout North America, Europe, LatAm, Australia and New Zealand.

Home Chef serves up TMNT meals

Paramount has signed a four-week deal with the US-based meal kit company to roll out a menu inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Available starting today on the Home Chef website, the range includes pre-made subs, tacos and the Turtles’ favorite food: pizza.
