Netflix Australia buys a ticket to Crazy Fun Park 

ACTF has sold this live-action supernatural series from Werner Films Productions to Netflix Australia, which will drop it in the region on April 1. Crazy Fun Park (pictured, 10 x 26 minutes) revolves around a teenager who discovers that his deceased best friend has become a ghost at the local theme park. Since its launch in 2023, the ABC-commissioned series has already been licensed by international buyers including Hulu, the BBC, YLE and NRK.

Bluey plays nice in Australia and New Zealand 

Building on Bluey’s new “Playdates with Friends” brand theme for 2026, BBC Studios has signed new deals covering both regions with Play Pouch (which makes a toy storage bag that opens up into a playmat), Birch Creative (arts & crafts) and MADMIA (socks).

StoryZoo & Friends picks up Turbozaurs 

The Dutch FAST channel has acquired Tale Wind’s CG-animated preschool series for the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Turbozaurs will be available in both German and English on StoryZoo & Friends, which is accessible through Samsung TV Plus and Prime Video. This 156 x seven-minute series is about dinosaurs that are also powerful machines charged with protecting the world from danger.

Caterpillar brings its expert-approved captions to Akili TV

The Kenyan broadcaster has teamed up with Caterpillar Captions in the UK to launch a subtitled kids programming block designed to improve literacy among its 1.2 million viewers. This weekday Read Along Hour now features expert-approved accessibility captions that Moonbug previously adopted. They’re more readable by virtue of mimicking books with black letters on a white background, and they also offer a summary at the end of each show highlighting key words from the episode.
