Former Global Licensing Group brand director Steven Ekstract is returning to Bentonville, Arkansas, for a second edition of his X Tracks Licensing Summit.
The Bentonville networking event will be held on June 18 at The Momentary, inviting licensing and retail industry members to connect and learn how entertainment brands can drive in-store sales. The event, first held last year, is hosted near Walmart’s global headquarters, designed to get executives, buyers, merchants and marketers from the big-box retailer to share how brand owners can translate their IPs into consumer products on shelves.
Notable sessions for this year’s one-day conference include developing retail licensing strategy, moving TikTok creator brands into retailers and how IP owners can leverage pop-culture moments into new opportunities on shelves.
The X Tracks event will coincide with the 12th annual Bentonville Film Festival, which highlights upcoming films from diverse creators and underrepresented communities. Walmart, a founding sponsor of the festival, hosts outdoor screenings of family movies and runs a dedicated toy corner for kids to try out the hottest products on the market.
Tickets to the Bentonville X Tracks Licensing Summit are available to purchase now for licensing and retail executives, and space is limited to 200 guests.
