WildBrain CPLG promotes four to lead Europe
The licensing agency is expanding the remits of four commercial directors (pictured). Stacy Scimia (formerly serving the UK) now oversees the UK and Nordics; Angela Reuber-Gundolf (GSA) now manages Germany, CEE and Benelux; Laurent Fourcine (Italy) is taking on Italy, France and Spain; and Begüm Isikli (Türkiye) is leading Türkiye and Greece.

Tonies taps Mark McColgan as GM for North America

A former Mattel exec, McColgan will lead growth in the kids audio player’s largest market, with the aim of securing retail partnerships and more sales. He reports to Christoph Frehsee, CRO. A 12-year-old company that started in Germany, Tonies has become a US$300-million business in North America, according to a release. McColgan was formerly SVP and GM of Mattel US, where he led its commercial growth.

Dublin’s Boulder Media hires Annie Liu

The former Netflix content director who worked on kids series such as Dogs in Space and Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld is joining the studio to lead development across genres, including kids. The 2D-animation studio is behind Lulu is a Rhinoceros (Apple TV+). Liu’s other former roles include a stint as manager of development and current series at Disney (Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur).

Disney alum Becki Fleming joins ITV Studios

A former Entertainment One, DreamWorks and Disney franchise marketing lead is joining the production company to lead global franchise management across a portfolio of IPs. ITV Studios runs multiple production labels, including the kids-focused Boom, which makes Welsh series like Meet the Experts.
