Jessica Kelly expands her regional remit at Mattel
The toy giant has appointed the former country manager for Poland/CEE to senior director and head of consumer products for EMEA. Kelly (pictured) has been at Mattel for nearly eight years and succeeds Ruth Henriquez in this bigger leadership role. She’ll be responsible for EMEA regional licensing and strategy across consumer products, as well as driving more partnerships and business development opportunities.
Brooke Henery to support Hasbro’s digital portfolio
Following a year-long contract role as a content strategist for WildBrain, Henry has been recruited by Hasbro as senior manager of digital distribution. She will be leading the company’s action and aged-up brand portfolio on YouTube. Hasbro has been making a lot of moves to drive growth on the video platform, such as launching the short-form Mighty Morphin Minute series and partnering with Animaj on a new ad-sales joint-venture.
Rianna Mezzullo elevated at Penguin Random House UK
In a LinkedIn post, the former editorial director announced that she is now stepping into a publisher role on the children’s licensing team at the UK company. Mezzullo has moved up the senior ranks at Random House since first joining as an editorial assistant in 2016. Looking ahead, she will be focused on acquiring and publishing more brands for all kids demos, from preschoolers to teens.
