Bulldog Licensing settles down with Beddybyes licensing deals

The UK and Ireland rep for JAM Media’s 52 x 11-media preschool series (pictured) has secured its first two licensing deals. Aykroyds & TDP Licensing and Blues Group Limited will both create apparel (daywear and nightwear) for the series in spring or summer 2027. Bulldog made the deals on behalf of Blue Ant Rights, which manages the animated series’ global distribution and consumer products. BBC Children’s commissioned the series, which premiered in June 2025.

Tubi orders another Sidelined movie

After drawing more than 20 million views for the first two YA-skewing Sidelined movies, Tubi has greenlit a third one. WEBTOON Productions will produce it, alongside Blue Ant Studios and Blue Fox Entertainment. Sidelined 3 is heading into production, and follows the romantic story of a football quarterback trying to get back together with his high school sweetheart. The films are based on a Wattpad story by Tay Marley. The first Sidelined movie was a swing for Tubi, which hadn’t done YA originals before, and its success has spurred the company to focus heavily on the genre. Beyond this new film, Tubi has broad ambitions for growing its kids content slate.
