Ketchup is ready to scale up
Distributor Ketchup Entertainment has a new US$100-million P&A (print and advertising) financial facility, thanks to a partnership with private investment firm Capstone Point Holdings. While Ketchup deals with all genres, its buzziest releases lately have been Looney Tunes movies: last year’s The Day The Earth Blew Up (pictured) and the upcoming Coyote vs. Acme. The P&A line is designed to support theatrical campaigns to help Ketchup build a stronger market presence as an independent player—a timely boost, as PG features are increasingly leading box office momentum.

On the consumer products side, the media giant has linked up with partners like Loungefly (Lola Bunny bags), Jazwares (Squishmallows) and Bellabu Bear (kids apparel).
