After getting a big taste with KPDH, Netflix has caught the CP bug, declaring in its Vegas keynote last week that it’s open for licensing business. And who’s the streaming giant launching the first wave of this new era with? Moose Toys, of course, with two toy deals announced at Licensing Expo for Charlie vs. the Chocolate Factory and Young MacDonald. Moose is already handling CP for some big-name Netflix-bound creators, Mark Rober and Salish Matter. Between these deals and the recent renewal of its licensing partnership for kids juggernaut IP Bluey, it’s no wonder readers voted to hand the mighty Aussie toymaker this week’s Gold Star.
