The Jim Henson Company has signed new linear deals for its animated series Dot., which is heading to TG4 (Ireland), YLE (Finland), Hop (Israel), ABC (Australia) and EBS Korea.
The broadcasters join Disney Channel Japan, which bowed the series last week. New agreements were also recently inked with Piwi+ in France and SVT in Sweden.
Based on the book by the bestselling author Randi Zuckerberg (who also serves as an executive producer), Dot. currently airs in the US on Universal Kids, Hulu and Sprout online. It also airs on CBC in Canada, Canal Panda in Portugal, Jim Jam in the MENA and Benelux territories, and Israel Education Television.
The 52 x 11-minute series follows tech-savvy Dot as she explores the world with her dog, friends and any tech she can use to enhance the experience. It is produced by Industrial Brothers in association with CBC and The Jim Henson Company.
