Cottonwood Media has tapped FranceTV Distribution as French licensing agent for its half-hour tween drama Find Me In Paris.

The live-action series is set to premiere in France in early 2018, and FranceTV Distribution will launch consumer products in the market later next year.

Produced largely on location in Paris, the series is the first live-action international co-production for Cottonwood, ZDF, ZDF Enterprises and the National Opera of Paris. Find Me In Paris follows the time-travelling adventures of a young Russian dancer named Lena Grisky. Production began in July and is set to finish in December.

The series was recently renewed for a second season by commissioning broadcaster and production partner ZDF, which holds German licensing rights. Find Me In Paris has previously sold to Hulu in the US, France Televisions, Disney in France and Italy, ABC Australia and Belgium’s VRT.

According to Cottonwood Media, Find Me In Paris was the most-screened live-action kids show at MIP Jr. this year, and ranked 12th overall.
