As France-based Cyber Group Studios continues to expand both locally and internationally, the company has strengthened its production team with two new hires. Caroline Audebert (left) has been named head of productions based in Paris, while Stéphanie Baclet is now head of productions at the company’s new studio in Tourcoing (Hauts-de-France region).

Audebert will coordinate productions currently in progress and will supervise all directors and production managers. Previously, she served as production manager at both Superprod and Gaumont Animation, and was an ESRA professor of 3D/CGI.

In her new role, Baclet will develop the company’s new studio in Tourcoing and oversee all activity in the Hauts-de-France region of Lille and Tourcoing. Additionally, she will provide support to the Paris studio on a number of productions. Before joining Cyber Group Studios, Baclet was the delegate producer at TF1 Production and also worked with Ankama as a studio director and director of cinema and audiovisual divisions.

The hires come as Cyber Group Studios continues to expand. In January, the company launched its new subsidiary Cyber Group Studios US in an effort to establish a North American foothold. The California-based subsidiary set up shop with former Henson exec Richard Goldsmith serving as president and CEO.

After delivering two new series this year–Zou 3 and Mirette Investigates–the prodco has seven shows in production slated for 2018 and 2019, along with 10 additional projects currently in development. Upcoming shows include The Pirates Next Door for France Televisions, Taffy and The Happos Family 2 for Turner International, Mini-Ninjas 2 for TF1 productions and TF1, Sadie Sparks for Disney EMEA, Tom Sawyer for RAI, ARD/HR and SRC in Canada and Gigantosaurus for Disney Junior Worldwide.

In September, Cyber Group Studios partnered with London-headquartered investment company L-GAM to boost its long-term international growth strategy. The deal sees L-GAM take over Cyber Group’s minority shares, enabling the animation producer/distributor to increase its production capabilities, develop new technology and strengthen its global acquisitions business.

Since launching in 2005, Cyber Group has grown its portfolio to 1,000 half-hours of animated content for TV and digital platforms. The company has sold its shows into more than 150 countries.
