Ex-Breakthrough Entertainment exec Jodi Mackie has joined Toronto, Canada’s Distribution360 as director of sales and acquisitions, where she will be responsible for driving revenue growth, attracting new titles for distribution and developing production relationships.

Formerly Breakthrough’s director of international sales and acquisitions, Mackie is the latest senior team member to exit the company in recent months. In September, Joan Lambur, former EVP of family entertainment, launched her own prodco, Lambur Productions, with Breakthrough’s former VP of family entertainment Suzanne Wilson joining as its COO.

Mackie, who will handle sales into Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Scandinavia, joins D360 as it announces a raft of new catalog sales. Deals include marblemedia’s Splatalot (52 x half hours) selling to BYUtv in the US,  George & Paul (26 x five minutes) heading to YLE in Finland and Hop! in Israel, and renewals for Spellz (52 x 12 minutes), MathXplosion (50 x three minutes), and Alphabet Stories (26 x 2.15 minutes) with Epic! Creations in the US. Malaysian Airlines has also picked up Family Travel (34 x half hours) and Made Up (13 x half hours) for its in-flight service, and further episodes of This is Scarlett and Isaiah (13 x half hours) have sold to Korean Airlines.
