While North America has turned Halloween into one of the largest one-off commercial holidays on the seasonal sales calendar, the festival itself traces its origins to the U.K., where--thanks in part to an influx of North American families in city centers such as London--Halloween is fast becoming a viable consumer market ripe with business opportunities.
