Cartoon Network Italy (Rome, Italy, 39-06-4470-2322): Jaime Ondarza has been appointed marketing director. Ondarza’s most recent posts have been at Italian branches of global ad agencies, specifically Young and Rubicam, where he served as an account director, and Saatchi & Saatchi, where he was an account supervisor.

Disney Interactive (Glendale, California, 818-553-5000): Sanjeev Lamba joins as VP of international from VP of licensing and marketing at Disney Consumer Products in Japan, where he oversaw licensing programs for Mickey and Winnie the Pooh. In his new position, Lamba will manage the Mouse House’s games business outside the U.S.

EM.TV & Merchandising (Munich, Germany, 49-89-995-000): Patrick Elmendorff has been upped from senior VP and head of international sales to president of international TV distribution.

Fox Family Channel and Fox Kids Network (Los Angeles, California, 310-235-5100): Tom Cosgrove, former senior VP in charge of scheduling and marketing, has been upped to executive VP. Cosgrove will now help develop and execute overall strategy, with particular emphasis on strategic planning, programming, marketing, on-air planning and scheduling. He will also work to maximize strategic partnerships and promotions and is expected to be highly involved with Fox Kids distribution.

Harcourt Trade Publishers (San Diego, California, 619-699-6435): Christine Longmuir has joined as director of marketing for the children’s book division and will oversee all marketing efforts for the company’s kids imprints, including Silver Whistle, Gulliver Books and Harcourt Children’s Books. Mainframe Entertainment (Vancouver, Canada, 604-714-2600): Lou Novak has joined as CEO from streaming media application service provider Videosnap.com, where he was president/CEO. Novak has also held senior management positions at Galoob, Mattel and Coleco. Mainframe’s former CEO Ian Pearson will assume the mantle of chief creative officer responsible for spearheading new productions and steering the studio’s creative team.

NBA (New York, New York, 212-407-8000): Jonathan Press has been promoted from senior director to VP of marketing partnerships. As such, he will oversee the management of all existing NBA and WNBA marketing partnerships, including those with The Coca-Cola Company, McDonald’s, Yahoo and AOL. Renny Gleeson has been named senior director of global media properties and Internet marketing and will develop comprehensive web marketing strategies for the league and its partners. Gleeson was previously senior VP of sales and marketing at teen retailer dELIA*s, where he founded Internet division iTurf.

New Line Cinema (New York, New York, 212-649-4900): Randi Goodman has been promoted from director to VP of domestic licensing and merchandising. Goodman will continue to manage key product categories including apparel, gifts, collectibles, home furnishings and paper products, and her immediate focus is on developing the licensing program for The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Walt Disney Internet Group (North Hollywood, California, 818-623-3200): Douglas T. Parrish has been named senior VP of technology and chief information officer. Parrish will oversee infrastructure and applications for Disney’s Internet properties. He joins from Polaroid Corp., where he served as chief information officer for the consumer imaging business and director of Polaroid’s worldwide information technology and eBusiness strategy.

Wild Brain (San Francisco, California, 415-553-8000): BZ Petroff has been promoted from producer to head of production and is looking for ways to incorporate CGI and other technology-based capabilities into TV, film, commercials and interactive production.

Wild Trixx (Munich, Germany, 49-89-3582-8290): Curtis Briggs has been named managing director of the new Wild Brain animation studio subsidiary. In his new position, Briggs will be hunting co-production partners for TV and feature film projects, coordinating sales and merchandising for future and existing programming throughout Europe, and attracting European-based commercials. Briggs was previously the head of Artists for Nature at World Wildlife Federation.
