Disney Junior has ordered a third season of its animated preschool series Mickey and the Roadster Racers, ahead of the toon’s second season premiere on April 13.
Season two—which will be available linearly and on DisneyNOW and Disney Junior VOD platforms—includes a star-studded guest voice cast featuring Guillermo del Toro, Alice Cooper, Camilla Belle and Andrea Martin. Returning to the series is Jay Leno as Billy Beagle, Patton Oswalt as Mr. McSnorter, Jane Leeves as the Queen of England, Danica Patrick as race car driver Danni Sue, Jeff Gordon as race car driver Gordon Gear and Kate Micucci as Emmy Lou.
Following Mickey as he races transforming vehicles around the world, the Disney Television Animation series has aired in more than 150 countries since its January 2017 premiere. Licensing for the brand includes toys, storybooks, apparel, plush and home décor from Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media, with new products set to debut this fall.
