21st Century Toys (Alameda, California, 510-814-0719): Company co-founder Scott Allen has replaced James T. Allen as president and CEO. Richard Regan has joined as VP/director of marketing and advertising from his marketing and advertising agency business. Carey Bay has been named VP of North American sales. Bay’s career experience includes stints at Mattel, Sega of America and Hasbro.

American Center for Children and Media (Des Plaines, Illinois, 847-390-6499): Dolores Morris, VP of HBO Family, has joined the Board of Governors.

Copyright Promotions Licensing Group (London, England, 44-208-563-6400): Chris Protheroe has been promoted from head of football worldwide to director of sport. Coinciding with his promotion, Protheroe has been appointed to CPLG’s Board of Directors.

DIC Entertainment (Burbank, California, 818-955-5400): Kaaren Lee Brown has been named senior VP of creative affairs. Prior to joining DIC, Brown served as executive VP of development at Full Moon Productions and VP of entertainment licensing at Tyco Toys. Michael Maliani has been upped from senior VP of development to chief creative officer.

Disney Online (North Hollywood, California, 818-623-3200): Dan Sherlock has expanded his role as VP of marketing, taking on responsibility for new business development, managing market research and brand development teams, and marketing efforts for on-line subscription

service Disney’s Blast. Jodie Resnick has expanded her role as VP of entertainment. In addition to working with 15 Walt Disney Company business units to supervise the production and maintenance of movie, television, video and music websites, Resnick will now also direct the creative development of original content for the Fun for Families neighborhood on Disney.com.

Funrise Toy Corporation (Woodland Hills, California, 818-883-2400): Kristin Prichard has been upped from national sales manager to VP of sales, heading up U.S. and international sales efforts.

Jim Henson Television Group Worldwide (New York, New York, 212-794-2400): Juliet Blake and Angus Fletcher, previously executive VPs and co-heads, have been upped to presidents, with Blake overseeing program development in the U.S. and Fletcher in the U.K.

JP Kids (San Francisco, California, 415-371-8600): Jeff Pinsker has been named president, joining the company from a post as president of board game manufacturer University Games.

Lucas Licensing (San Rafael, California, 415-662-1800): Paul Southern has been named director of international licensing and marketing. Southern previously handled Lucas Licensing business at The Copyright Promotions Licensing Group, the company’s agent in Western Europe.

Most recently, Robino was senior VP of national promotions at New Line Cinema. Travis Rutherford has been named senior VP of MGM Consumer Products. Rutherford joins MGM from DreamWorks, where he was head of licensing and merchandising/retail development.

Scholastic (New York, New York, 212-343-6100): Hugh Roome has been named executive VP of the company’s International Group. Most recently, Roome was executive VP of Scholastic’s Magazine Division.

Sony Pictures Consumer Products (Culver City, California, 310-244-7788): Al Ovadia has joined the company as executive VP from Mediacentrix, a web-based syndicated company that he co-founded, serving as executive VP.

The itsy bitsy Entertainment Company (New York, New York, 212-989-3660): Joan Lambur expands her role as president of on-screen entertainment by taking on theatrical production in addition to television. Robin Sayetta has been named president of off-screen

entertainment, responsible for marketing and licensing. Sayetta’s portfolio includes stints at Scholastic and Discovery Communications. Angela Rodgers and Suzanne Wilson have been promoted from managers to senior managers of on-screen entertainment, theatrical and television, respectively.

VEE Corporation (Minneapolis, Minnesota, 612-375-9670): To help meet expanded tour schedules, Sara Draxten and Amy Golembiewski, both previously sales managers, have been promoted to regional sales managers. The company currently has four North American tours: three Sesame Street Live productions and one tour of Bear in the Big Blue House Live. Rhoda Davis, who once performed as Betty Lou in the Sesame Street Live production `When I grow up,’ has been appointed sales manager.

Walt Disney Television International (London, England, 44-208-222-1000): Paul Robinson and Simon Amselem have been promoted to senior VPs and heads of branded television for WDTV U.K. and Spain, respectively.
