Last year’s presentation event was hosted by comedian Darrin Rose and exclusively sponsored by the Canada Media Fund. Amazon Studios, Sesame Workshop and DreamWorks were among the big winners, with Amazon bringing home six awards including Best in Class and Best One-Off, Special or TV Movie for its preschool program Snowy Day. Additionally, UK pubcaster CBeebies managed to snag the Broadcasting category’s coveted Channel of the Year prize.
