Canadian net Teletoon will premiere Spin Master’s latest series Super Dinosaur (pictured) on September 8 as part of its new fall programming lineup.
Based on a comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead) and Jason Howard, the CGI action-adventure series for six- to 11-year-olds follows Derek Dynamo and his genetically engineered T-Rex best friend as they save the world from a group of dinos and their evil leader. Spin Master first announced it was developing the show in November.
Kirkman is serving as executive producer for Skybound Entertainment, along with Catherine Winder. Howard, meanwhile, will be an executive creative consultant.
Four other new series—Bravest Warriors, Cupcake & Dino: General Services, Chop Chop Ninja and Total DramaRama—will also premiere on the Corus-owned channel as part of its fall programming refresh.
Other shows joining Teletoon’s new grid will include Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS, Transformers: Cyberverse, The Amazing World of Gumball, Craig of the Creek, We Bare Bears, Wishfart, Unikitty, Teen Titans Go! and Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel. Full seasons of the fall additions can also be watched the day after broadcast on Teletoon On Demand.
