Nickelodeon Latin America launched a 24-hour Portugese-language feed dedicated to Brazil in August, since, according to Nickelodeon, Brazilian kids felt they were not getting programming that suited their interests, and wanted more animation with less repetition. Nick Latin America is carried in over one million homes in Brazil and the new network is expected to get the same interest.
