Scott Adams’ comic strip about a bitter, drone-level office worker relentlessly terrorized by corporate America, will be popping up on golf equipment at a course near you. Dilbert licensor United Media has granted licenses to Ajay Leisure Products and HTC International to manufacture golf accessories that incorporate the likeness of Dilbert and the other characters that appear regularly in the strip. Ajay Leisure Products will create golf club head covers, and HTC International will develop divot menders, golf balls, golf tees and golf towels. Products for both companies will be available at gift, specialty and department stores nationwide beginning in the spring of 1999.
