The Children’s Television Network has sold three of its programs-Ghostwriter, Encyclopedia and 3-2-1 Contact-to Fox Family Channel Japan. Beginning in September, FFCJ will run all three educational shows as an hour-and-a-half CTW-branded block called ‘New Kid City,’ which will be broadcast in the mornings from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., and then in the evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Ghostwriter and 3-2-1 Contact started running on FFCJ last July, when the channel first hit Japanese airwaves. Encyclopedia will make its on-air debut later this month. FFCJ is one of two new digital television services available in Japan, which currently boasts over a million subscribers.
