Dupuis launches
free Kid Comics Web site
Kids can play games and read Cyberbooks comic books for free-in three languages-on European publisher Dupuis’ new Web site (www.kidcomics.com). The Kid Comics site is divided into two sections: the magazine section, updated every six weeks, features a mix of games, quizzes and humorous advice, while the second section allows members to read Cyberbooks on-line or to download them.
Patch Products goes Interactive
Patch Interactive will be a new attendee at this year’s E3 show. This new division of Beloit, Wisconsin-based, game and puzzle manufacturer Patch Products was formed to develop and release a line of PC- and Macintosh-compatible CD-ROM games. Patch Interactive’s new games include two CD-ROM games based on the TriBond and Kuba board games, targeted to players age 12 to adult and age 10 to adult, respectively. Also premiering from Patch Interactive is the Air Hockey Multi-Pack-targeted to kids age 12 to adult-a CD-ROM game play pack featuring air hockey and five other arcade-style games.
