The young turtle, who stars in his own book series by author Paulette Bourgeois and illustrator Brenda Clark and an animated TV show by Nelvana, is crossing new territory with his first home video. Hurry Up, Franklin arrived in stores in Canada last month at a suggested retail price of Cdn$16.95 or Cdn$33.95 for a gift pack with a plush doll and a book. The title, featuring an episode from the television show, is released by Telegenic Entertainment and is the first in an upcoming line. Nelvana is finalizing a video deal with PolyGram in the U.S. and is in discussions with European distributors.
