As Porter Novelli International, a New York-based network of public relations agencies, celebrates its first anniversary, the occasion also gives kids a reason to cheer. Porter Novelli offices in 13 countries, from the U.S. to Brazil to New Zealand, kicked off Kids Thinklink on the company’s anniversary day in late September. The afterschool program teams up kids age eight to 12 from local schools and staff, and aims to teach kids how to navigate the Web and design their own Web pages. Each group of kids will develop a Web page about the city in which they live. Next month, the fruits of their labors will kick off with the launch of a Kids Thinklink home page (www.pninternational.com/kidsthinklink) that connects the individual sites.
