ABC (New York, New York, 212-456-7777): Peter Murphy has been named chief financial officer and senior VP. He is replacing Ronald Doerfler, who is leaving to pursue opportunities in corporate finance.
CBS (New York, New York, 212-975-4321): Leslie Moonves has been appointed president of CBS Television. He was formerly president of CBS Entertainment.
Claster Television (Timonium, Maryland, 410-561-5500): John Claster is stepping down as head of the company. His sister, Sally C. Bell, executive VP, will take over as president by the end of the year.
Columbia TriStar Television (Culver City, California, 310-280-2041): Jon Spector is the new VP, production.
Disney Channel (New York, New York, 212-735-5390): Disney Channel has opened a New York production office, and Simon Graty is the new executive director of original programming. Tami Corbin has been named director of human resources. She will be based in Burbank, California.
Disney Interactive (Burbank, California, 818-543-4300): Jan Smith has been appointed senior VP, and Steve Finney is the new VP, chief financial officer.
Film Roman (Los Angeles, California, 818-761-2544): David Pritchard is the new president and CEO of the animation company. Phil Roman remains as chairman.
Fox Broadcasting Company (Los Angeles, California, 310-369-1000): David Hill has been named chairman and CEO, Fox Broadcasting Company; in addition, he remains president of Fox Sports and CEO of Fox Sports Net. John Nesvig, president of sales for Fox Broadcasting Company has been named to the additional post of executive VP, Fox Television. Larry Jacobson has moved into the position of president, Fox Television Network. He was formerly executive VP, Fox Television and executive VP, chief financial officer for Fox Broadcasting.
Geppetto Group (New York, New York, 212-462-8140): Julie Halpin is CEO of the new stand-alone WPP unit, which will specialize in advertising aimed at kids and teenagers. Chris McKee is chief creative officer and Rachel Geller is chief strategic officer. All three were formerly with Saatchi & Saatchi’s Kid Connection (see story page 12).

MTV Latin America (Miami Beach, Florida, 305-535-3700): Christopher Daniels has been named director, global business-advertising sales. Drana Prekelezaj has been appointed VP of programming and production. She was formerly production manager, VH1, and director, international operations, MTV Networks. Alejandro Pels has been promoted to VP, programming and production and remains executive producer.
National Geographic Television (Washington, D.C., 202-857-7000): Cynthia Van Cleef has taken the position of executive producer of children’s television.
NBA Properties (New York, New York, 212-407-8000): Christopher Heyn has been named senior vice president of the consumer products group, where he will oversee all areas of the group’s licensing, sales and marketing.
NBC Enterprises (Burbank, California, 818-526-6900): Geneen Estrada has been named director, international marketing. Estrada will be responsible for initiating and managing all marketing and promotion activities for NBC Enterprises’ program sales department, including the planning and execution of NBC’s participation at NATPE, AFM, MIP-TV, MIPCOM and MIP’ Asia.
NBC Television (New York, New York, 212-664-4444): Scott Sassa has been named president, NBC Television Stations. He will be responsible for the operation of NBC’s 11 owned-and-operated TV stations. He was formerly chairman and CEO of Marvel Entertainment and before that, president, Turner Entertainment Group.
PBS (Alexandria, Virginia, 703-739-5400): Judy Braune is the new director, advertising and promotion planning, and Jim Guerra is VP, program business affairs. Tom Epstein has been appointed director, communications and public relations, and Brenda Nesbitt has been named VP, creative services.
Playmates Toys (Costa Mesa, California, 714-428-2000): Richard Sallis has resigned as president of Playmates Toys and Playmates Interactive Entertainment. Ron Welch, senior VP, is taking over the position.
PolyGram Television (Los Angeles, California, 310-724-8100): Mark Lieber has been named to the newly created position of senior VP of children’s programming. Lieber will oversee the distribution of PolyGram Television’s children’s properties in the U.S. Lieber moves to PolyGram from Saban Entertainment, where he was senior VP of domestic distribution.
Saatchi & Saatchi (New York, New York, 212-463-2000): Executive VP Anne Adriance has reassumed her role as general manager of Saatchi & Saatchi’s Kid Connection.
TBS Superstation (Atlanta, Georgia, 404-885-0353): William Blair has been promoted to the newly created position of national promotions manager.

Universal Studios (Universal City, California, 818-777-1000): Tony Garland has been appointed to head the new Universal Studios Networks division, which has been created to develop and launch branded TV networks in non-U.S. markets.
YTV/GRC (Toronto, Canada, 416-534-1191): Earl David Weiner has been appointed to the position of development manager. In this newly created position, Weiner will be responsible for developing the international distribution arm for YTV/GRC programming and marketing the brand worldwide. Weiner was formerly director of acquisitions and distribution at Catalyst Entertainment. Susan Mandryk has been named VP, marketing. Mandryk will oversee the expansion of merchandising, licensing and strategic partnerships at YTV. Katherine Browne has been promoted to VP, finance, YTV, from the position of controller.

ITEL (London, England, 44-171-491-1441): Jane Dockery has been promoted to sales manager. She is responsible for sales of all program rights in Scandinavia, Eastern Mediterranean and Central and Eastern Europe. Deborah Bennett has been named to the new position of business systems manager. Shawn Taylor has been promoted to ITEL’s board as director of finance from the position of financial controller.
Lifestyle Licensing (London, England, 44-171-387-7871): Kathy Jackson has been appointed to the position of licensing manager. She was previously with Polygram Records as head of licensing and synchronization.
Link Entertainment (London, England, 44-181-996-4800): Genevive Dexter joins Link Entertainment, the TV distribution arm of Link Licensing, as sales manager for the U.K., France, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Japan.
Link Licensing (London, England, 44-181-996-4800): Paul Munton has been appointed U.K. licensing manager responsible for toys, games, publishing and leisure industry categories. Munton was previously with LCI and Design Rights International before joining Link. Elyse Matthews has been named licensing executive in charge of the gifts and accessories categories.
Marina Productions (Neuilly, France, 33-1-46-40-2800): Julie Fox is director of sales and acquisitions of the company’s new international distribution department, formed as a result of the alliance of Dargaud Group and Marina Productions. Michele Massonat and Celine Carenco have been named international sales executives of the department.
