Aliens Online will be invading America Online late this summer. Virginia-based Kesmai Corporation and software publisher Fox Interactive of Los Angeles have teamed up to develop the multiplayer Internet game based on the hit movie from Twentieth Century Fox. According to Kesmai Corporation, this marks the first time a major movie brand, real-time 3-D action and multiplayer technology have been brought together on-line.
The game is the first in a series of on-line projects the pair, both owned by News Corporation, are working on. Another collaboration includes an on-line version of Aliens vs. Predator, based on Fox Interactive’s upcoming action game.
