On May 22, Warner Bros. Consumer Products and the United States Postal Service unveiled a US$0.32 stamp featuring Bugs Bunny. The wascally wabbit has also been named the ambassador for Stampers, the U.S. Postal Service’s program designed to reinvigorate the hobby of stamp collecting.

The stamp was officially dedicated in a ceremony at Warner Bros. Studios. Several hundred local school children attended the ceremony and a behind-the-scenes interactive look at the creation of animation, stamp collecting and the Postal Service.

First-day sales of the stamp and a pictorial cancellation were available exclusively at the Tour Office on the Warner Bros. Studios lot and at the Burbank Post Office. The stamps became available nationwide on May 23, with special events held at post offices and select Warner Bros. Studios stores.
