– WorldVillage KIDZ celebrates Valentine’s Day on-line
The WorldVillage KIDZ Web site (www.worldvillage.com/kidz) is offering kids activities to enjoy Valentine’s Day on the Internet. At Billy Bear’s Valentine’s Day page, children can e-mail an animated valentine to a friend, color and print valentines, download Valentine’s Day images and play games about the holiday on-line. The Web site also features hotlinks to other Valentine’s Day sites.
Valentine’s Day is the most recent holiday to be added to WorldVillage KIDZ. Other holidays with their own home pages are Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
-Creative Wonders revamps AOL and Web sites
Software publisher Creative Wonders is looking to draw more kids, parents and educators on-line with its redesigned sites on America Online (keyword: Creative Wonders) and the World Wide Web (www.creativewonders.com).
Both contain a Schoolhouse Rock section targeted at kids age six to 10 and, for adults as well as children, Family Album Creator and ABC World Reference pages. The Web site also features on-line games, downloads, contests, ways to upgrade the company’s CD-ROM titles, and an area for educators that highlights educational products from Creative Wonders and allows educators to communicate with the company’s educational experts.
Visitors to the AOL area can participate in a promotion. With any purchase from the Creative Wonders store on AOL, customers will receive a free copy of the 3D Atlas CD-ROM.
Users that own Creative Wonders’ ABC World Reference, Family Album Creator, Madeline or Schoolhouse Rock CD-ROMs can access the AOL area or Web site directly through their CD-ROMs with the company’s built-in Wonderlink technology.
