PARIS: Canal J, France’s cable satellite children’s channel, has launched a promotional campaign to coincide with the release of the new CD-ROM Duck City, a co-production between Canal J and BMG Interactive of France. The game, inspired by British author and illustrator Alan Snow, is a non-violent CD aimed at kids age five to 10 and presents a series of activities. Canal J is broadcasting short sequences from the title with a call-in contest sponsored by BMG. Kids can win Duck City bags, T-shirts and CD-ROMs.
