MTM Entertainment has launched worldwide licensing and merchandising campaigns for two of its new TV series, through MTM’s newly formed consumer products division.

The shows are: Bailey Kipper’s P.O.V., a video diary series set to launch this fall as part of CBS’s Saturday morning lineup; and The Cape, a one-hour action drama that debuts this fall in first-run syndication in the U.S. and international territories.

The Bailey Kipper’s P.O.V. campaign will capitalize on the technology element in the show to develop such spin-off products as hand-held and interactive games, novelizations, technology driven toy lines and kids’ accessories.

The Cape, which looks at the lives of astronauts, will see spin-off CD-ROMs, apparel, toy and promotional tie-ins, as well as a potential publishing component that may develop from the show’s personal story lines.
