Bazooka Candy Brands, the confectionery division of The Topps Company, has acquired the Sharkies Organic Fruit Chews business from Sharkies, enabling the candy marker to offer natural ingredient snack alternatives.
The company behind candy products like Ring Pop and Bazooka bubblegum has recognized a shift in consumers’ attitudes towards health and wellness and as such is expanding its portfolio.
Sharkies Organic Fruit Chews, founded in 2003 by competitive athletes Dwight and Kelly Sinclair, are currently available at US retailers.
