Spain and Portugal will be seeing more of Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob this summer.
Nickelodeon Consumer Products has commissioned The Beach Factory to create Dora the Explorer beach towels, poncho towels, jellies and beach bags specifically for girls ages two to six.
And in both countries, licensee Juguetes y Peluches La Gran Familia will create Dora the Explorer-branded inflatable products like balls, surf boards and mattresses.
SpongeBob SquarePants, meanwhile, will appear in a new Spanish toy range that includes bowling sets, play tents and explorer kits, following a deal with licensee Cefa Toys. SpongeBob SquarePants floor lamps, ceiling lamps, wall lamps and plug lamps from Dalber are already available in Spain and Portugal.
