India-based prodco DQE has joined forces with France’s M6 Studios for the second series of the animated series Le Petit Nicolas (Little Nick).
The co-production agreement will result in 52 x 13-minute CGI episodes, which are slated to being production this year. Other companies involved in the production are Method Animation and Luxanimation.
DQE has the exclusive right to sell and distribute the TV and video rights to the series in Asian territories in Hindi, English and all local languages. DQE will also distribute the series (both seasons) in all English speaking countries worldwide.
The first series of Le Petit Nicolas was co-produced by DQE and will be premiering in the Indian subcontinent shortly and has already aired in France and on ZDF, Germany.
