Through a deal with BBC Worldwide, Australia’s ABC TV has licensed more than 67 hours of children’s content for its dedicated kid’s channel ABC3.
The package includes new BBC original series Big Babies and Inside Life as well as returning programming such as the fifth season of the teen spy series M.I. High, seasons two and three of Horrible Histories and season two of extreme wildlife show Deadly 60.
Premiering on ABC3 later this year, Big Babies combines live action, puppetry and computer-generated imagery and follows the adventures of two babies who have the heads and voices of grown men. Inside Life, also airing on the channel later this year, takes kids behind the camera of David Attenborough’s natural history series Life.
