NCircle licenses to new mobile TV service

NCircle Entertainment, a division of Alliance Entertainment that licenses, manufactures and distributes family home entertainment, is widening its distribution reach through Mobile MUM’s new subscription-based mobile streaming service.

Mobile MUM, a new startup spun out of interactive game and video developer VisionWise, now has the digital license to stream programming such as The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That, The Jim Henson Company’s Sid the Science Kid, Pocoyo from Zinkia, and Mighty Machines on its new digital TV platform. The company will weave its own original educational games into the programming and deliver the package to Apple and Android devices, including the iPad, iPhone, Android phones, and Android-based tablets.

Mobile MUM has already secured hundreds of hours of programming, with new shows and games to be added throughout the year. The service is available for US$3.99 monthly apps for Apple and Android devices are free.
