MGA adds manpower to licensing strategy

Former Lucasfilm licensing exec Casey Collins has been tapped to spearhead global licensing initiatives for US-based toymaker MGA Entertainment.

As the new EVP of Global Licensing, Collins will oversee domestic and global licensing activities for both MGA and Little Tikes product categories as well as leverage retail and promotional activities worldwide for the company’s portfolio of toy brands that include Bratz, Lalaloopsy and Moxie Girlz.

Collins comes to MGA Entertainment with more than 16 years of experience in international and domestic licensing, marketing and retail development. His previous accomplishments include establishing strategic direction for both domestic and international licensing and promotional initiatives for the Star Wars franchise at Lucasfilm.
