Helen Jackson has been named MD of content and production at BBC Worldwide, replacing Wayne Garvie who left the company in September. Jackson will take overall leadership of BBC Worldwide’s TV content activity, including international formats and production, talent and brand ventures and investment in content from the BBC and independent sector.
Currently BBC Worldwide’s director of independents, Jackson has also been acting MD of content and production since Garvie’s departure. Over the past 20 years at the company, she has built up commercial experience of the television sector holding various roles across international sales and distribution, marketing and content investment.
