Licensing Expo is confirmed to take place as an in-person event in Las Vegas next year from May 24 to 26.

Produced in partnership with Licensing International, the theme for the 2022 trade show will be location-based experiences, a brand extension that has struggled of late due to lockdowns and restrictions related to the pandemic.

The last two Licensing Expo events have been virtual, following cancellations of live events in both 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19.

In other consumer products event news, The Toy Association has postponed Toy Fair Dallas in response to the spreading Delta variant. Originally scheduled for October 5 to 7 this year, the event will now take place in 2022, and the Association is working to secure new dates at the Dallas Market Center.

Toy Fair New York, meanwhile, is planned for February 19 to 22 in the newly expanded Jacob K. Javits Center. Health and safety protocols for the in-person event include providing proof of vaccination, as well as any additional directives to come from the New York City government.
