Nickelodeon Consumer Products International is rolling out its core properties Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants across the Iberian Peninsula.
In Spain, Regal Arts has signed SpongeBob SquarePants for a collection of wood products including boxes, chests, pencil holders, photo frames and clocks, and Artesania Cerda has signed both Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants for a range of fashion and fashion accessories including bags, belts, caps, gloves, scarves, sunglasses, umbrellas and raincoats.
Footwear licensee Bernada is taking on trainers and sports shoes for SpongeBob SquarePants, while multi-product licensee United Labels Iberica has signed an extensive deal, also for SpongeBob, which covers a range of products from board games and garden accessories to tin ware, wallets, purses and toys. Also for Spain, NCPI has signed Exit Toys and Games for a sticker pack.
In deals covering both Spain and Portugal for SpongeBob, Rusque has signed to supply branded umbrellas, which also covers Andorra; Lugar Diffusion has signed for hair and fashion accessories and Editorial Everest has signed for coloring, activity, story and chapter books, plus sound books, which are exclusive in Carrefour Spain during November.
Dora the Explorer will appear on bath sponges in the same territories thanks to a deal with Surplastik and NCPI has also signed Vidal for SpongeBob wet wipes, also for the region.
