Paris-based Cyber Group Studios has inked a number of new broadcast deals for three of its animated series.

Disney Japan and Discovery Latin America have acquired upcoming comedy-adventure 50/50 Heroes (pictured), which is in production and set to premiere in Q4 2022 on France Télévisions and Disney in Germany and Eastern Europe. Featuring a mix of 2D and CGI animation, the series for six to 10s revolves around half-siblings who learn they have extraordinary superpowers, but must learn to work together in order to use them.

Cyber Group has also signed multiple deals for the first two seasons (104 x 11 minutes) of its flagship preschool adventure series Gigantosaurus. New broadcasters to buy rights to the first season include NHK (Japan), Plus Plus (Ukraine), RTBF (Belgium) and Premier (Russia). Season two was picked up by Netflix (worldwide), CCTV (China), POP (UK), RAI (Italy) and SRC (Canada). Starring a group of small dinos searching for the biggest dinosaur of all, this CG-animated series premiered worldwide on Disney Junior, France TV and Super RTL (Germany) in 2019.

And rounding out the sales push, season one of Droners has been acquired by ABC (Australia), SIC (Portugal), RTBF (Belgium) and RTS (Switzerland), with Disney (France and Benelux), WDR (Germany) and TF1 (France) picking up season two. TF1 commissioned the 52 x 22-minute animated series for six to 10s in 2017, drawn to its adventure-comedy stories about a team of kids who race drones.
