Zodiak Media Group’s The Foundation has been commissioned to produce two more series of kids sitcom Dani’s House for CBBC.
Series four and five (both 13 x half hours) are currently in pre-production and will start broadcasting on CBBC in 2011/12.
Dani’s House, which puts a comical spin on the trials and tribulations of early teenage years, launched on CBBC in 2008 and rose to become one of the channel’s top-rated shows. Series three is currently airing on CBBC.
Internationally, Dani’s House has been picked up by broadcasters including Raisat (Italy), TV3 Catalunya (Spain), Canal+ (Poland), Channel 2 (Kuwait) and ABC (Australia) and, most recently, by RTE (Ireland).
