Production has started on a second season of Australian prodco Sticky Pictures’ short-form animated kids series Dukes Of Bröxstônia.
The first season of Dukes was the product of a shorts initiative led by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation at the launch of kids diginet ABC3 last year. Commissioning broadcaster ABC Australia is on-board again, with Cartoon Network having acquired Asia Pacific broadcast rights. The ACTF and Mango Distribution will distribute the series.
The series, which features a hand-drawn sketch style and a no-dialogue, follows a band of teenagers who hail from a fictional country Bröxstônia. The series chronicles the band as they tour the galaxy.
