Firebreather, Cartoon Network’s first original CGI movie event, will be making its debut on Wednesday, November 24 at 7 p.m. EST and will subsequently roll out to international feeds starting in early 2011.

Based on the comic book series, the movie introduces fans to Duncan, a typical teen whose mother once stopped a destructive war between the humans and a race of deadly monsters. Duncan’s father – a 120-foot, fire-breathing Kaiju from the depths of the earth – wants him to follow in his monstrous footsteps.

Firebreather is written by Jim Krieg (Ben 10: Alien Swarm) and is directed by animator Peter Chung (Aeon Flux).
