Zodiak Media Group’s children’s production and distribution arm, Zodiak Kids, has extended distribution for the live-action series Summer in Transylvania to Nickelodeon in Germany, Italy, Benelux, Nordic, Spain and Portugal.
The live-action comedy originally premiered on Nickelodeon in the UK last year.
Nickelodeon has acquired the further rights to 20 x 30-minute episodes of the series, which follows the exploits of popular school girl Summer Farley. When the Farley family relocates to Transylvania, Summer is faced with monstrous new challenges in her new world including a community made up of zombies, werewolves, vampires and mummies.
Summer in Transylvania is produced by The Foundation, which is part of Zodiak Kids.
