Powered by California-based Everloop and the growing trend of kid-focused social networking sites, The Mad Science Group from Montreal, Canada has launched the first science-based social website created specifically for kids.

Harnessing Everloop’s tween-focused social privacy platform, The Mad Science Kids Club (http://www.madsciencekidsclub.com ) allows young users to connect, explore and learn through science-enrichment programs that entail brain teasers, experiments, book clubs and a Q&A forum. The site also includes instant messaging, email, VoIP, and video-sharing applications.

The Mad Science Kids Club is powered by Everloop’s COPPA-compliant Private Label solution, which provides partners with features designed for kids and with a high level of privacy protection. Parents can also monitor their child’s online activities through the parental control dashboard.
