American Greetings Properties (AGP) has inked additional entertainment deals for Strawberry Shortcake’s Berry Bitty Adventures, taking the series to French-speaking Canada, Italy and Portugal.

In French- speaking Canada, Groupe TVA has secured airtime for the series on Yoopa. American Greetings Properties has also secured a new broadcast deal in Italy with Planeta Junior where the CG-animated series will air on DEA Kids in Italy, Cape Verde, Vatican City, Switzerland, Montecarlo, Malta, and San Marino.

Berry Bitty Adventures will air twice daily every day starting October 4 in Portugal, Angola, Mozambique, Guinea Bissau, Sao Tome and Principe. Beginning November 1, Care Bears Adventures in Care-a-Lot will also air on Canal Panda, as well as four Care Bears specials. The licensee has also acquired rights to air the all-new AGP series Maryoku Yummy.

Since her re-launch in 2002, Strawberry Shortcake has generated more than US$3 billion in worldwide retail sales.
