Kidscreen is partnering with Engage Digital to present a full-day iKids track at the App Developers Conference (ADC) that’s set to take place in Santa Clara, California between October 26 and 27.

On October 26, the iKids track will feature the popular Brand Download sessions from the two previous iKids events hosted by Kidscreen this past February in New York and June in L.A. The sessions feature digital media execs from some of the biggest brand owners in kids entertainment discussing their 2012 app strategies and partnership needs. And the day will wrap with an exploration of the developmental, social and cultural drivers that influence the digital media habits of kids, from preschool to high school.

ADC, meanwhile, is addressing key components of app development, discovery and revenue, offering a look at best practices, current trends and effective strategies to get into and stay on top of the apps market.

Engage expects to welcome between 800 and 1,000 reps from major brands, media, social networking, mobile, consumer electronic software platforms and app developers. And the company is offering Kidscreen readers a US$100 discount on All Access passes. Just enter promo code KSVIP when you register. The full ADC schedule is available here.

For more information about the ADC, please contact Tim Williams, Engage Digital’s VP of marketing (tim@engagedigital.com). Additional details about the iKids track specifically can be provided by Kidscreen editor Lana Castleman (lcastleman@brunico.com).
