  • MIAM! distribution has sold French prodco Darjeeling’s puppet series Yeti Tales (280 x eight minutes) to RTS (Switzerland), beIN (MENA) and TV5Unis (French-speaking Canada). Commissioner France Télévisions is premiering season six of this show about a yeti who helps two little mice read new books on April 12. It has also been picked up by Tiny Pop (UK), Youku and CCTV (China) and Once Niños (Mexico), but the L&M rights are still available.

  • Superights has acquired international distribution rights to Cartoon Saloon’s 2D-animated preschool series Silly Sundays (pictured, 78 x seven minutes). The toon about three kids and their granny trying new things was presold to RTEJr, which premiered it in Ireland last July. It’s also airing on Cartoonito and Max in EMEA, LatAm and the US.

  • Spain’s Peekaboo Animation has taken over production of Brutal Media’s reboot of 2D-animated series The Triplets. Spanish broadcasters RTVE Clan and SX3 have commissioned two 26 x 11-minute seasons of the new preschool show, which is in late development. The original series from the ’90s yielded more than 100 episodes about three nine-year-old sisters who are transported into classic stories, where they meet famous figures. Brutal Media is no longer producing the series since it was acquired by the BBC in March.
