- Acamar Films has partnered with London-based Fierylight Productions to tour a Bing’s Birthday stage show in the UK next year, kicking off at The Lowry Salford on February 21, 2025. Based on a CG-animated preschool series that airs in 130-plus countries, this theatrical production is coming off a successful first run in the Netherlands and Poland.
- Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks confirmed in the company’s Q1 earnings call yesterday that Sony’s Tristar Pictures and Sony Pictures Entertainment have snapped up the TV and film rights to classic board game Clue. No word yet on whether the studio intends to develop a show or a movie, and it remains to be seen whether family audiences will be targeted.
