Distribution vet Jonitha Keymoore is stepping up into a bigger role at New York-based studio and streaming network FilmRise as head of content, with oversight of all acquisitions and production for the company’s FAST channels and AVOD apps.

Keymoore has been managing half of that portfolio as VP of global content acquisitions for the past two years. FilmRise operates several FAST and AVOD channels available on platforms including Roku, Samsung and YouTube. It stocks these services from a library of more than 30,000 movies and TV episodes.

Keymoore joined FilmRise in 2021 and has expanded the company’s catalogue of kids content significantly since, picking up a package of videos from The Wiggles, episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! and several shows from Scholastic and WildBrain. 

Prior to FilmRise, she worked in content acquisitions for ViacomCBS, Konami Cross Media NY and Cinedigm.
